An Installation and Performance Piece made from a scavenged microwave, drumstick, ratchet, cassette player, and crayons and toys. As the handle is turned the microwave is engaged and the cassette player emits intense music, creating a cacophony of hums, clicks, horns and screeches. Children’s toys are melted inside creating a new sculpture with each performance as viewer’s get a shaded glimpse of their reflection in the viewing port.

Many of the institutions and things aimed at children in contemporary society have underlying social detriments or active harm upon the children who engage with them, and in the performance the audience watches complicitly as the the businessman-tinkerer character lifelessly incinerates artifacts of childhood innocence.
